January 18 United States Green Building Council Miami Chapter (USGBC) lecture and meeting. Light supper served. $10 per person for non-members and students free. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 to 9 p.m.
January 23 – February 29 New Palladians, an exhibition on one of the world’s most influential architects Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) and his influence on the architecture of today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Irvin Korach Gallery. In conjunction with the exhibit, a lecture “New Traditional Architecture & Urbanism and the 21st Century” will be presented on Wednesday, February 8 by Professor Lucien Steil of the University of Notre Dame; followed by a tour of the New Palladians exhibition and a reception. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall and Irvin Korach Gallery, 6 to 8 p.m. Free and open to the public.
January 25 Visiting Critic and Spanish Architect Manuel Clavel Rojo of Clavel Arquitectos, Murcia, Spain will present a lecture with title to be determined. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.
January 27 Cinema of Cities: First in a Series. Saboteur (1942) by Alfred Hitchcock, filmed in stunning locations throughout the United States. First film in the School’s Spring Symposia. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.
January 30 “Periphery: Architecture and Urban Design in the Caribbean,” a lecture by Dr. Roberto Segre, Architectural Historian, Rio de Janeiro. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.
February 3 Cinema of Cities: Second in a Series. Tokyo Story (1953) by Yasujiro Ozu, focuses on the relationships between a post-World War II family in Tokyo, Japan. Second film in the School’s Spring Symposia. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.

February 29 “African Architects Design Multiple Modernities and Continuities,” lecture by Carolyn Armenta Davis, architecture lecturer, curator, critic, writer and jurist. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.
March 2 Cinema of Cities: Fourth in a Series. La Dolce Vita (1960) by Federico Fellini, a lush and intoxicating masterpiece, La Dolce Vita is a meditation on the meaning of life and love and stars Marcello Mastroianni as Marcello, a gossip writer in Rome who seeks the fleeting excesses of decadence of life. This is the final film in the School’s Spring Symposia. Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Glasgow Hall, 6 p.m. Free and open to the public.

March 19 – April 13 Architecture in Perspective 25: An International Juried Exhibition of Architectural Illustration, the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, including the Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize and Awards of Excellence. The official opening and reception will be on Friday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center Irvin Korach Gallery. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
