Cleveland discusses the Death Penalty - Charles Club (2013.07.24) + Cleveland Salon (2013.07.29)

Via: Cleveland Salon

"This month, the Charles Club and the Cleveland Salon are covering the same issue in two different ways.
First, on Wednesday, July 24, at 7 p.m. at the Happy Dog, the Charles Club will be hosting a debate on whether the death penalty should continue to be used or should be abolished.  The focus is on civil but passionate disagreement, so both sides will be well represented and will address the main arguments for and against capital punishment.  You can view the Facebook invitation here.  The Happy Dog is at 5801 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102.
The following Monday, July 29, the Cleveland Salon will be meeting at Mahall’s 20 Lanes to have an open, respectful discussion on the death penalty; it also starts at 7 p.m.  You can view the Facebook invitation here.  Mahall’s is at 13200 Madison Ave.,  Lakewood, OH 44107.
If you have any questions, go ahead and email us.  We hope to see you later this month!"

This is an extremely personal and important topic and should be an interesting discussion at the very least. I would assume that there will be quite a bit of information and opinion to absorb, and I doubt it will be boring at all.
