Let's Grow Cleveland upcoming events 2012.08-2012.10

Ripped from my email headlines.  I'm hoping to at least make a couple of the events since eating if one of my all time favorite things ever.

Sustainable Cleveland 2019, The City Club of Cleveland, The Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Food Policy Coalition, Ingenuity Fest and Neighborhood Progress Inc. are collaborating on a series of events for the Year of Local Foods. These are designed to educate, to spur action, and to inspire. The forums focus on key aspects such as policy, access to capital and celebrating successes.

A Food and Farm Bill for 2012: Legislation that impacts our cities, diets, & farmland
August 15th, 6-8pm , Dunham Tavern
What impact will the new Federal Farm Bill have on Northeast Ohio? From producers to consumers, learn about and discuss the ramifications for Greater Cleveland.

Local Food Ignite Talks: Brief presentations about how CLE goes Local
Sept. 14th,  7-9pm, Ingenuity Fest
Local Food producers, processors, retailers, restaurants and more share their ingenuity through brief, creative presentations. Ingenuity Fest will take place at Docks 32 and 30 which sit on the Cleveland lakefront north of Browns Stadium and the Great Lakes Science Ctr.

1st Annual Citywide Potluck: Edgewater Park, Upper Pavilion
Sept 29th, 5-7pm
Come to the Citywide Potluck celebrating the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Year of Local Food. Bring family and friends and a dish to share as well as a non-perishable item to donate to local charities.
